Vickie Renea Sellers, born on December 23, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on September 26, 2025, at her residence. She touched the lives of many as a devoted mother. Her legacy is defined not only by her professional accomplishments but also by the warmth she brought to her family and friends.
Vickie had a passion for cooking that delighted those around her. She possessed a remarkable green thumb, capable of nurturing any plant or flower, which flourished under her care. Her home was a testament to her love for nature and her ability to create beauty in everyday life.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Ethel Clark; her loving sons, Michael (Erica) Sellers and Kelvin Thomas; and her cherished grandchildren, Amir Thomas, Eris Sellers, and Erin Sellers. Vickie held a special place in the hearts of her siblings, including Sherry Lackey, Billy (Brenda) Lackey, Waymon Sellers, Curtis Clark, and Berry Clark.
Preceding her in death were her sister, Belinda Sellers, and her brother, Delwyn Sellers, who will be remembered alongside her in the hearts of their family.
Vickie’s life will be honored during a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, October 4, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, located at 3145 Washington Street Southwest, Covington, GA, 30014. Pastor Agnes Harvey, Eulogist.
Her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her, leaving behind a legacy of love, nurturing, and dedication.
