Van Bueren McKay

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Mr. Van Bueren McKay. A loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, drummer, and friend.

His presence, kindness, love for music and dedication to family and friends touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Mr. McKay leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Mrs. Lucille Woods McKay; and a host of other loving devoted family members and friends. 

Family and Friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, September 11, 2026, 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M at Lester Lackey & Sons Chapel. 1163 Reynolds St. SW Covington, GA 30014. A Home- Going Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 2051 Henderson Mill Rd. Covington, GA 30014, Interment, The Wood's Family Cemetery.
