Terrence DeCarlos Bailey

Terrence DeCarlos Bailey, entered eternal rest on January 25, 2026, in Athens, Georgia. He was born on October 15, 1983, in Greensboro, Georgia, and was a proud high school graduate.

Terrence was known for his vibrant personality and his unwavering passion as a dedicated fan of the LA Lakers. His love for basketball was infectious, bringing friends and family together as they shared in the excitement of the game. He had the ability to light up a room with his enthusiasm, leaving a positive and lasting impression on those around him.

Terrence’s life will be honored during a visitation service on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, GA 30014. Following this, a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Rock Hill Baptist Church, 1221 Rock Plains Church Rd., White Plains, GA 30678, starting at 1:00 PM. Mr. Bailey will lie in-state at the church at 11:30 A.M. until the hour of service. His final resting place will be held at Flat Rock Baptist Church, 2241 Flat Rock Church Rd. Greensboro, GA 30678.  

Terrence’s spirit will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as he leaves behind cherished memories that will never fade. His legacy will be remembered through the joy he brought to those around him and the passion he showed throughout his life. He will be dearly missed.
