Stanley Lee Thomas

Stanley Lee Thomas, affectionately known as "Fish," passed away on April 5, 2025, in his hometown of Covington, Georgia. Born on December 7, 1955, Stanley's life was one filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

A proud resident of Covington, Stanley was deeply rooted in his community. Throughout his life, he had a profound impact on those around him, known for his kind spirit and genuine warmth. Stanley's legacy will be honored by his beloved daughter, Termeka Thomas, who carries forward his memory and the values he instilled in her.

Visitation for Stanley will be held on April 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, Georgia 30014. Friends and family are invited to come together during this time to remember and celebrate the life of a remarkable man.

Additionally, a Celebration of Life service will take place on April 16, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, 2207 Brown Street Southwest, Covington, Georgia 30014, starting at 11:00 AM. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all who knew and loved Stanley to honor his memory and share their fondest stories.
