Mr. Willie James Cooksey

Mr. Willie James Cooksey of Covington, Georgia entered eternal rest on November 24, 2019. Services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, 1275 Flat Shoals Road SE Conyers, GA 30094, Pastor Hillman Graves, Eugloist. Assisted by others. Interment Springfield Baptist Church cemetery- Almon. He leaves to cherish his memories eight children, Mr. Henry James Cooksey, Mr. David Cooksey, Ms. Kecha Zachery, Mr. & Mrs. Casey (Saundi) Cooksey, Mr. Scottie Cooksey, Ms. Maria Cooksey, Mr. Demarco Lawrence and Ms. Kenyetta Neal; three sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Ashby, Mrs. Jewell McGuire, Mrs. Eva Thomas; five brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Melvin (Sheila) Cooksey, Mr. & Mrs. Waymon (Linda) Cooksey, Mr. Johnny Curtis Cooksey, Mr. Eugene Cooksey and Mr. Houston Cooksey and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and caretaker, Mr. Derrick Gross (Ole Skool). The remains will lie in-state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at Mr. Cooksey's address at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2019, 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M.  "A Service of Dignity, A Trademark of Excellence"
