Mrs. Nellie H. Pitts of Covington, GA entered eternal rest on May 8, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 574 Glades Road Hwy 300 Eatonton, GA 31024, Bishop Lewis Parham, Pastor, Reverend Philip Marks, Eulogist, Assisted by Others. The remains will lie in-state from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour. Interment will follow service at the Springfield Memorial Gardens, Newborn, GA. The cortege will assemble at 90 Graystone Dr. Covington, GA at 12 NOON. Visitation, Friday, May 12, 2017, 12:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Nellie Pitts is survived by daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Oscar (Ilene) Rogers; step-daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Samuel (Barbara) Vasques; step-son, Mr. & Mrs. Ricardo (Dianne) Wyatt; grandchildren, great- grandchildren; sisters, Ms. Sally Pitts and Mrs. Fannie Lee Marks; brother, Mr. Comer Howard; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
