Mrs. Melvin Elizabeth Shepherd of Covington, GA entered eternal rest on July 15, 2021. Celebration of Life’s Essence will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 12:00 Noon at The Potter’s House, 1120 Crowell Road Covington, GA 30014, Reverend Ricky Bradford, Pastor. Assisted by Others. Interment, Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery- Almon. The remains will lie in-state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. The cortege will assemble at 100 A Jack Neely Rd. Covington, Georgia 30014 at 11:00 A.M.  She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories; her devoted husband of fifty-six years, Deacon Henry Louis Shepherd; loving children, Sharon L. Shepherd Jones, Rita A. Shepherd (Bill) Benton and Veshone (Terri) Shepherd ; five precious grandchildren, Antonio Carter, McKale Shepherd, Ritavian Benton, Jashone Shepherd, Brian Shepherd; two great grandchildren, Madison Carter and Kynlee Carter.
