A service of celebration will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, 6:00 P.M. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2177 Usher St., Covington, GA 30014, Reverend H.K. Benton , Jr. Pastor Emeritus, Eulogist, Reverend Karen Kelley, Transitional Interim Pastor, Assisted by Others. The remains will lie in-state at the church from 4:00 P.M. until the service hour. Interment will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, 12 NOON at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery, 9364 Wildcat R., Ivanhoe, North Carolina. Interment service arrangements entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, Burgaw, North Carolina, 910-259-9400. Funeral service arrangements entrusted to Lester Lackey and Sons, Inc.
