Linda Lee Smith entered this world on November 27, 1962, in Rockdale County, Georgia, to her devoted mother, Mrs. Flossie S. Giles, and the late JC Sims, Sr.

She attended Heritage High School and later found joy in working at Krystal and Bojangles, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly spirit. Even after her health began to decline, Linda remained a source of love and laughter to all who knew her.

Linda was a woman full of life and energy. She loved spending quality time with her family, cooking hearty meals, and watching movies together. Known for her vibrant personality, Linda was often the life of the party—dancing, telling jokes, and lighting up every room she entered. Her presence was magnetic, and her laughter unforgettable.

Linda’s loving memory will forever be cherished by her mother, Flossie S. Giles; her son, Marcus Keith Lett; her sisters, Mary Nell Smith, Gladys Baisden, and Judy Sims; her brothers, Luther James Smith, Jerome (Kim) Smith, and JC Sims, Jr.; her cherished grandchildren, Qui’Neiyah Lett, Quin’Trelius Lett, Quin’Zaryia Hudson, and Quinata Hudson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends—all of whom she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Little Bethel Baptist Church, 400 McMahon Rd. Covington, GA 30014, Pastor Terry Shepherd, Eulogist. Assisted by others. Interment will be held at the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Smith will lie in-state at the church at 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 1:30 P.M. A Family and Friend visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
