Gloria Mae Stweart

Mrs. Gloria May Stewart of Covington, GA peaceful transitioned on August 18, 2026. Gloria was born in Gayle District, St. Mary Jamaica, the daughter of Leslie Higgins and Theresa Lawrence. Gloria eventually came to Kingston; married Everal Stewart and they ultimately had 6 children over the course of their 71 years together. She is survived by her husband,  Everal and her children: Paul, Sonia, Peter, Alvin, Beverly and Wayne. Along with numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. 

A Family and Friend's visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following the visitation at  3:00 P.M. in the chapel of  Lester Lackey & Sons Chapel, 1163 Reynolds St. SW Covington, GA 30014. Interment, Private.
