She had a joyful spirit, and when she walked into a room, her smile and laughter made everyone feel welcome.
With profound sadness and everlasting love, we celebrate the life of Geraldine Weaver, who peacefully departed this life on August 1, 2026, at the age of 72.
Geraldine was born on May 2, 1954, to the late Helen Weaver and Jack Weaver. She was a woman who truly enjoyed life. She loved listening to the blues, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She had a joyful spirit, and when she walked into a room, her smile and laughter made everyone feel welcome. She believed life was meant to be celebrated, and she cherished every opportunity to gather with the people she loved.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving children: Tonya Davis, Tyron Hale, and Torrance Weaver; cherished grandchildren: Kristofer Weaver, Kamiyah Weaver, Terrell Weaver, Jordyn Davis, Tylisia Hale, Michael Davis, Theodis Hale Jr., Makai Hale, and McKinley Weaver; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Muna Weaver. she also leaves behind siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are comforted knowing that her suffering has ended and that she now rests in eternal peace. Her laughter, her love of dancing, her love for the blues, and the unconditional love she poured into her family will live on in our hearts forever.
A Family and Friends visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Lester Lackey & Sons Chapel,1163 Reynolds St. SW Covington, GA 30014. Family and friends are invited to come, pay their respects, and share in honoring the life and memory of their loved one. Private interment will follow. " A Service of Dignity, A Trademark of Excellence."
