It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Eddie Lee Maddox, Jr., who peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Covington, Georgia.

Eddie was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, friend, and valued member of the community. He will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and the many lives he touched.

Home-Going Celebration will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 10201 Flat Shoals Rd. Covington, GA 30014,Pastor Quin Baker, Assisted by others. Interment, Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Rd. Covington, GA 30014.  Mr. Maddox will lie in-state at the church at 10:00 A.M. until the hour or service. Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. A family hour will be held between the hours of 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. "A Service of Dignity, A Trademark of Excellence."
