Family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know Eddie will gather to honor and celebrate his life during visitation services on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc.,1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, GA 30014.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, 3:00 PM at Peeks Chapel Baptist Church at 3185 Old Salem Road Southeast, Conyers, GA 30013, Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Floyd will lie instate at the church from 1:30 PM until the hour of service.The cortege will assemble at his daughter Casandra Shy residence at 2:00 PM.   This is a time for reflection, remembrance, and celebration of the profound impact that Eddie had on the lives of others.

Eddie Lewis Floyd will be deeply missed, but his spirit will lie on in the memories and stories shared by all who knew him.
