DeForest Denson

DeForest Denson, born on September 8, 1953, in Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 3, 2025. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Sylvia Denson.

DeForest's life was marked by his dedication to his family. He was a person of integrity and warmth, making a positive impact on everyone he encountered. His journey through life was characterized by his commitment to his loved ones and the values he upheld.

Family and Friend's visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, GA 30014. A funeral service in celebration of his life will take place Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Rock Spring Baptist Church,  2223 County Line Road, Mansfield, GA 30055. Rev, Terry. Porter, Pastor. Interment, Church Cemetery.  Mr. Denson will lie in-state at the church at 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. The cortege will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M.
